Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur conducted a 21-day Yoga Satra at Padinjare Vemballur in Thrissur district. The Satra was held from 7th August to 30th August 2024, with daily sessions from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
The sessions were led by Ms. Remya Didi, a Kendra Karyakarta. A total of seven participants regularly attended the Satra, where they learned the basics of yogasanas and pranayama. The deeper purpose of yoga—understanding it as a way of life based on the vision of oneness—was also introduced to the participants.
Following the Satra, a month-long Yoga Varga was organized in response to the participants' enthusiasm. This additional program concluded in September 2024.
