Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, West-Bengal Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Pradanam celebrated its 3rd Foundation Day on 11th May 2024 at the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark, Kolkata. More than 180 learned audience members participated in the program.
Sri Piyal Bhattacharjee Ji, a distinguished artist and scholar of Indian Performing Arts, was the Chief Guest and Speaker, while Sri Sayan Chandra Ji, a young and talented artist, was the Guest of Honour. Retd Air Chief Marshal Sri Arupa Raha, Chairman of VK Pradanam, presided over the program. Mananeeya Sri Pravinji Dabholkar, All India Treasurer of VRM & VK delivered the introductory note on VK Pradanam. Adharneeya Sri Viswasji Lapalkar introduced the guests on the dais.
Sri Subrata Mandal, West-Bengal Prant Yuva Pramukh, shared information about Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari's activities at the national level and in the Paschimbanga (West Bengal) prant. Sri Nirmalya Bhattacharjee Ji, West-Bengal Prant Saha Sanchalak, offered the vote of thanks. The event was compered by Sri Rakesh Das Ji from the Department of Sanskrit at the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Belur Math.
The celebration was marked by inspiring speeches, cultural performances, and a deep sense of unity and purpose. Participants left with renewed enthusiasm to contribute to the mission of Vivekananda Kendra.
