कन्याकुमारी में राष्ट्रसेवा के लिए समर्पित 680 युवाओं का महाशिविर सार्थक युवा समर्थ भारत अखिल भारतीय महाशिविर का उद्घाटन आज ९ बजे विवेकानन्दपुरम में हुआ।

An all India Residential  Youth camp – Sarthak Yuva – Samarth Bharat for 3 days is organised in Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari for the selected youths to mark the concluding of Birth Centenary celebration of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade, founder of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra. Yuva Participants are selected through a  process  - Yuva  Samparka, Yuva Sammelan, Yuva Prashikshan and Yuva Seva.

In our happenings section, we have workshop on Capacity building for Adaption of technology, training programme on cost effective bio-manure as well as biogas plant. In the ‘Green Rameshwaram’ project, we have tree plantation at public places by the NSS students as well as by the community, social engineering at the remote place of Dhanushkodi and different works carried out for the Revival of traditional water bodies. You will be happy to see the different stakeholders including local panchayat joining hands in revitalizing the ancient teerthams.

Vivekananda Kendra, Assam Prant recently organized a few medical camps in the tea garden areas of Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts. Four camps were organized in Tinsukia(Dirial, Gate Chariali, Jungle Basti and Borjan) and two(Pathalibam, Tingrai Balijan) camps were organized in Dibrugarh districts. 614 patients were examined in the camp and medicines were distributed. Dr.Prema S. a General Practitioner from Mumbai came voluntarily to render the service to the poor and needy. The mobile medical van team of Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti also got involved in these camps.

As educators we need to stand for nourishing the rich cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh: the dawn lit mountain, which is also termed as ‘Gateway to serenity’.

विवेकानन्द शिलास्मारक के प्रणेता और विवेकानन्द केंद्र कन्याकुमारी के संस्थापक माननीय एकनाथजी रानडे की जन्मशती पर्व के उपलक्ष्य में जोधपुर शाखा द्वारा, गीताभवन स्थित योगक्षेम भवन में ‘समिधा’ कार्यकर्ता मिलन कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।

28/11/15 को संध्या 05:30-08:30 विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी के बिलासपुर इकाई द्वारा "समिधा वर्ग" का आयोजन किया गया था। जिसमें अमरकंटक तथा पेंड्रा वाले स्वामी जी का सानिध्य प्राप्त हुआ, साथ ही विवेकानंद केंद्र मध्य प्रांत संगठन भंवर सिंह राजपूत जी का उद्बोधन हुआ।
