Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari in association with District Blindness Control Society, Tinsukia,

The mobile medical team of Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti conducted three screening camps to identify patients for operations. 52 patients were examined during the screening camps and 25 patients were selected for surgeries. Out of them 20 were operated and rest 5 were medically treated. 

“All differences in this world are of degree, and not of kind, because oneness is the secret of everything,” thus spake Swami Vivekananda, the blessed child of Mother Bharat. This sublime ideal espoused by Swamiji was amply reflected in our work spanning a year 2017-18 (financial). In a world that is today buffeted by small and great forces which are subversive and divisive, our work in different areas attested to our belief in his deeply meaningful thoughts.

Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti organized two Free Medical Camps at Lekang circle of Namasai district, Arunachal Pradesh on 3rd and 4th September 2018. On 3rd Sept. the camp was organized at Rongalibeel, a remote flood affected area of Lekang circle.

Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti in association with Rotary Club, Tinsukia organized one Free Multispecialty Mega Medical Camp at Diyun of Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh on 12th August.

Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird wrote a path breaking book – “The secret lives of plants” - A Fascinating Account of the Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Relations Between Plants and Man.

On 5 August a medical camp was organised at Pothalibam Panitola Moran .More tha 68 patients have involved in the camp out of them maximum patients had Fungal problem.

VKV Kallubalu organised two days camp titled ‘Uttishthata Jagrata’  on  7th and  8th August 2018. Ma.Bhanudasji, General Secretary, Vivekannada Kendra Kanyakumari guided the participants of the shibir. All the teachers, non – teaching staff along with ex – Vkvians  attended the shibir.

The whole village had gathered in the garden of the sculptor. They had got used to him, to the chiseling, the hammering, the chipping and the scraping.

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari in association with Sivasagar Civil  Hospital and District Health Society, Sivasagar organized one Free ENT Surgery camp on 29th and 30th June 2018 at Sivasagar Civil Hospital.
