Kishori Shibir was held in VKV, Tezpur on 1.11.2013. The purpose of the shibir was the all round development of the adolescent girls. The program started with 3 omkar shanti path and lightening the lamp by the chief guest . The chief guest for the day was Dipali Upadhyay. She is the Samvag Pracharika, Rashtra Sevika Samiti Kendra, Tezpur.

विवेकानन्द केंद्र कन्याकुमारी की उपाध्यक्ष सुश्री निवेदिता भिड़े ने आज यहाँ कहा है कि स्त्री परिवार समाज और राष्ट्र की मुख्य धुरी होती है, उसके बिना विकास की कल्पना ही निरर्थक है। माँ के रूप में वह बालक को जो संस्कार देती है उन्हीं से बालक महान, तेजस्वी और युगनिर्माता बनते है।
