Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamil Nadu Vibhag, Greater Chennai Branch (Maharishi Bhringi Nagar), is organizing a Surya Namaskar Yagna, where participants gather every Sunday for 10 weeks, starting on October 22, 2023. Each week, the number of Surya Namaskar rounds will increase, aiming to reach 108 rounds. A total of 85 people have registered to take part in this event.
In the first week on October 22, 2023, the participants practiced 30 rounds of Surya Namaskar, with 19 brothers and 30 sisters joining in. In the second week on October 28, 2023, the participants increased their practice to 48 rounds of Surya Namaskar, with 19 brothers and 23 sisters taking part.
The sessions commence with loosening exercises, followed by Surya Namaskar practice in the early morning hours, and conclude with a Savasana, deep relaxation technique, and Omkar chanting.
