Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamil Nadu Vibhag, Madurai Branch, Murugan Vistar, as part of Navaratri Celebrations, set up Golu (traditional display of dolls and figurines) from 3rd to 12th October 2024 at Madurai Murugan Vistar Karyalayam, Balaji Nagar.
The Golu featured Dasavatharam, Ashtalakshmi, scenes from Kailash Parvat, along with spiritual leaders and highlighting the significance of Madurai, the scenes of the celestial wedding of Meenakshi Sundareswarar were arranged.
Daily puja was performed at 6.30 p.m. with bhajan, Deepa Aradhana and distribution of Prasad, organised by Madurai Karyakarthas.
On second day, 4th October, Friday, a Deepa puja was performed, 16 sisters participated and prayed for the welfare of the world.
