Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, RT Nagar branch celebrated Gita Jayanti and the 100th week of Swarna Bhoomi Samskarvarga on 15th December 2024.
The event was held at M.S. Convent School where Swarna Bhoomi Samskarvarga is conducted regularlyl and was celebrated together with the students of Shakti Samskarvarga. A total of 45 participants, including 33 children, 10 Karyakarthas, and 2 parents, attended the celebration.
The program began with a prayer and a Shubhashita. The values demonstrated by each character in the Mahabharata were explained. The students learned shlokas and sang Krishna’s Geet along with the song “Bane Hum Rashtra Ke Yogi.”
All students and Karyakarthas shared their experiences. An engaging game ‘cow, goat, elephant, and cheetah’ was played, emphasizing teamwork and attentiveness. Students also performed a dance to a patriotic song.
The session concluded with Avlokan, Shanti mantra, and Kendra Prarthana. Prasada was distributed to all participants after the celebration.
