Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur conducted a 21-day Yoga Satra at Karuppan Memorial Vayanasala, Anappuzha. The Satra, held for Matajis and Bhaginis from the surrounding areas, commenced on 15th October and concluded on 10th November 2024. Sessions were conducted daily from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a total of 15 participants attending.
The Satra was led by Su. Remya Didi, a Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra.
The concluding session of the Yoga Satra took place on 10th November 2024 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with 25 participants in attendance. The program began with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Sri Sudhakar Ji, a Senior Jeevan-vratti Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra, who also delivered an inspiring address to the participants. Senior Kendra Karyakarta Shri Radhakrishnan Ji and office bearers of the Vayanasala also graced the occasion with their presence.
This Satra was successfully organized through the Sampark carried out during previous Satras and the positive feedback received from participants. Due to popular demand, plans are already in place to start the next Yoga Satra at the same location on 18th November 2024.
