This month newsletter we bring you two panels from Gramodaya Park that explain the importance of traditional water harvesting and water management systems which exist throughout South India. The Traditional water bodies (TWB) which we are renovating as part of the Green Rameshwaram projects are part of this larger systems. The principles behind these systems are explained in these panels. They should be understood to realize the context and importance of the renovation work that is being carried out by VK-nardep in Rameshwaram.

Vivekananda Kendra raipur organized sanskar varga (Cultural Classes) training program. There were session on geet, games and stories part of the program. In this program also delivered the session on the importance of Samskar Varga in current time.

The results of State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation under National Campaign on Energy Conservation were announced.

After evaluation of the paintings, the jury members nominated by the State Government and NHPC on November 6 selected three paintings from each category “A” (4th, 5th & 6th standard) and “B” (7th, 8th & 9th standard) for national level competition. Ten paintings were selected for consolation prizes from each category.

Vivekananda Kendra Raipur organised yoga satra at Deendayal Uppadhyay Nagar's Greenland garden from 25/10/2015 to 03/11/2015.Total 15 participant took part in the yoga session.

Universal Brotherhood Day Program

VKV,Sadiya, school library was inaugurated on 28/10/215. The school library building was donated by the  family of Late.Gopal Singh Limboo founder President of North Eastern Academy.

Vivekananda Kendra, Madurai branch conducted Karyakartha Prasikshan Shibhir at Vivekananda Vidya Mandir, Harvipatti. The shibhir started at 4.00 pm on 21-10-2015 and concluded at 4.00 pm on 24-10-2015.
