Vivekananda Kendra Kolkatta, durgapur branch was organized universal brotherhood day celebration at Rahul foundation, Rajbandh, Durgapur on 11 September with presence of 102 engineering students and senior professor.

विश्व बन्धुत्व दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा-लखनऊ   द्वारा  25 अगस्त से 8 सितम्बर 2014 के मध्य विभिन्न विश्वविद्यालय एवं महाविद्यालयों में स्वामी विवेकानन्द के जीवन और संदेशों पर संभाषण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमे 13 महाविद्यालयों के 143 युवाओं ने संभाषण प्रतियोगिता में भाग लिया। इस अन्र्तमहाविद्यालय प्रतियोगिता का समापन कार्यक्रम 11 सितम्बर 2014, समय: प्रातः 11,00 बजे, स्थान: जयनारायण महाविद्यालय सभागृह, चारबाग, लखनऊ में विशेष अतिथियों एवं प्राध्यापको के सानिघ्य में हुआ।

As part of the 'Green Rameshwaram' project we have been able to bring smiles and light into the hamlets of Danushkodi with solar power installations. Sponsored by BrahMos Aerospace the project has not only lighted up the individual houses of the hamlet but also the community commons including the panchayat school and street lights in the area. The renewable energy installations is a short in the arm of the Green Rameshwaram project. Along with this we have also conducted a meeting of the special interest groups with the District Collector Sri.Nanthakumar IAS.

Over 250 enthusiastic audience including winning students from 19 Colleges of Hyderabad and well wishers of Vivekananda Kendra celebrated the 122nd Universal Brotherhood Day at the Community Bhavan in Nagole, Hyderabad.

On August 15, the 68th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school. At 8 am, we all assembled in the Assembly hall and the flag was hoisted by our honourable Principal, followed by National Anthem and Principal’s inspiring speech.
