Celebrations

To celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari – Madurai Branch had organized several lecture programmes at Balaji Nagar and TVS Nagar Karyalayas, four colleges and one school. The objective of these programmes is to commemorate the message of Universal Brotherhood given by Swami Vivekananda to the Western audience in the Parliament of Religions at Chicago on 11 September, 1893.

आज BCM college for education चण्डीगढ़ मार्ग पर विश्वबन्धुत्व दिवस पर कार्यक्रम हुआ। इसमें सभी 140 विद्धार्थीयों ने भाग लिया। इसमे विवेकानंद केन्द्र की तरफ से श्री पंकज गाबा ने स्वामी विवेकानंद के शिक्षा पर विचारों को लोगों के सामने रखा तथा विशाल शर्मा ने विश्व बन्धुत्व के विचार को प्रस्तुत किया। इसके बाद दिये गये वक्तव्यों में से विद्धार्थीयों को प्रश्न पूछे गये तथा सही उत्तर देने वाले विद्यार्थियों को उपहार में पुस्तकें दी गयीं। प्रधानाचार्य के धन्यवाद भाषण से कार्यक्रम का समापन किया गया।

आज (14.09.18) विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस के उपलक्ष में संजीवनी अस्पताल के सभागृह में विमर्श का कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। जिसमें डॉक्टर विनोद तिवारी तथा मा. प्रवीण जी मुख्य वक्ता मंचस्थ रहे । वहां क्या हालत है नगर प्रमुख डॉक्टर संजय आयदे ने विवेकानंद केंद्र का संक्षिप्त परिचय देते हुए उपलब्धियों पर प्रकाश डाला तथा विभाग संपर्क प्रमुख डॉक्टर वारे ने केंद्र की स्थापना से लेकर अब तक हो रहे संगठनात्मक विस्तार को बताते हुए अतिथियों का परिचय कराए l

आज विवेकानंद केंद्र लुधियाना शाखा द्वारा लॉर्ड महावीर होम्योपैथिक कॉलेज हैबोवाल लुधियाना में यूनिवर्सल ब्रदरहुड डे पर कार्यक्रम किया गया इस कार्यक्रम में सिस्टम निवेदिता पर लिखी एक पुस्तक सन निवेदिता एक समर्पित जीवन का अध्ययन करके कॉलेज के कुछ विद्यार्थियों ने पांच-पांच मिनट के लेक्चर दिए और उसके बाद यूनिवर्सल ब्रदरहुड कंसेप्ट पर विवेकानंद केंद्र के कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा लेक्चर दिया गया और अंत में सभी को पुरस्कार वितरण के बाद यह कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुआ इस कार्यक्रम में लॉर्ड महावीर कॉलेज की तरफ से लगभग 6 विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लिया।

On 11 September 2018, at Kaushalam, Hyderabad - UB Day was celebrated with 120 well wishers and students. The Chief Guests were Dr. Veeresh, Research Guide from Pullareddy College and Smt. J RAMA DEVI Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Langar Houz, Hyderabad.

We celebrated 125 anniversary of Swami Vivekananda's Chicago visit in Ludhiana at Devkidevi Jain college on 11 Sep. A speech on Swamiji's concept on universal brotherhood and story of his Chicago visit was delivered by nagar pramukh(Vishal Sharma).

This year VKNagerkoil celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day as Swami Vivekananda's 125th year of Victorious Chicago Speech to the World on Raksha Bandhan, 26th August, Sunday 2018 at Terivilai Village. 

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Nagerkoil Branch conducted GuruPurnima programme at two places.  One at Terivilai Village in which we had the Grama Sampark during Rashtriya KPS.  Follow up of this we had yoga satra and yoga varga.
