This new center, inaugurated by the Vivekananda Kendra Dibrugarh, embodies the spirit of societal upliftment and holistic education.

About Aanandalaya

Aanandalaya is a vital educational initiative led by Vivekananda Kendra to empower the tea garden communities and Janajatis of Assam. Operating through 220 learning centers, Aanandalaya fosters joyful learning experiences, focusing on both academic and holistic development.

Key aspects of the initiative include:

• Empowered Youth Leadership: Trained community youth conduct 2.5-hour daily sessions that emphasize academic and personal development.

• Women's Empowerment: Community-driven efforts to promote women's roles in achieving comprehensive societal progress.

• Livelihood and Character Development: Aanandalaya Bhawan serves as a training hub for youth, providing livelihood skills and nurturing confidence through character-building programs.

This mission aligns with Swami Vivekananda's vision of empowering marginalized communities and fostering a brighter future for all.

Lokarpan Ceremony Details
