100_3035Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti recently conducted a few Medical Camps in Longding and Tirap district. As most of the villagers of Longding circle are suffering from seasonal diseases like influenza, cold,viral fever and some casualities were there, the Mobile Medical team of Arun Jyoti conducted two Medical Camps at Niausa and Senua villages on 4th and 5th December 2013 respectively. .

Mananeeye Balakrishnan Ji, who will be soon awarded with gold medal on 26th January as it was announced by state Govt, of A.P. on 15th August for her rendered services in pioneering establishment of the Vivekananda Kendra Work in Arunachal Pradesh.

SurgeryCamp3JBM-Vivekananda Kendra Hospital, Shuklai, BTAD, Assam recently organized one Free Surgery Camp in association with Remote Area Medical Corp.USA (RAM). Two Surgeons from RAM, Dr.Gangadhar Maddiwar and Dr.Qutub Nadaf attended the camp. Dr.Monoj Talukdar, Anesthesiologist from Marwari Charitable Hospital, Guwahati and Dr.Rajiv Baruah, Anesthesiologist from Shivsagar Civil Hospital assisted the Surgeons.

1.“Sri Rama Jaya Rama” Mantra was chanted during Deepa Pooja, Shivalinga Pooja and daily by our Balwadi school children, cultural class students and during monthly meetings by our Balwadi teachers and Social Workers. Every month nearly 5, 29,076 times mantras were chanted in 84 localities.

2. Through 73 Balwadis, 1,782 rural Children were nurtured. In all the Balwadis, Malt along with hygienically prepared highly nutritive lunch with vegetables was served during the day. And in the evening vitamin-rich cereals were provided to the children.

Picture 009Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti conducted two Medical Camps in Lazu circle of Tirap district recently. On 13th August the camp was organized at Barap, where the patients from Sinnu, Raho, Longliang ,Langchen  and Barap were examined and free medicines were distributed among the patients. The number of patients were 128. On 14th August 69 patients were examined at Pongkong village and medicines were distributed.
