Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur conducted a Yoga Satra at Pandit Karuppan Memorial Vayanasala, Anappuzha, starting on 21st November 2024. The sessions were held daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with 21 participants attending regularly.
The participants enthusiastically learned basic loosening exercises, asanas, and pranayama. The theoretical sessions introduced yoga as a way of life based on the vision of oneness.
Aadarneeya Radha Devi Didi, Dakshin Prant Sangathak, inaugurated the Yoga Satra. Senior Karyakartas of VK-VVF, Sri Radhakrishnan Ji and Sri Hari Sharma Ji, also graced the inaugural session. Kendra Karyakarta Ms. Remya led the yoga sessions throughout the satra.
The concluding session was held on 25th January 2025, beginning with the lighting of the lamp by Aadarneeya Sri Sudhakar Ji, Senior Jeevan-Vratti Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra, who also addressed the participants. Senior Karyakarta of VK-VVF, Sri Radhakrishnan Ji, was also present at the occasion.
The participants took a vow to continue their yoga practice regularly and lead a yogic way of life.
