With great joy, we are pleased to inform that Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tinsukia (from the Dibrugarh Group), has been awarded the prestigious "Best School of Assam" award for its outstanding NCC activities during the North Eastern Region (NER) Annual Award Ceremony 2025–26, held at the NER Directorate Headquarters, Shillong, on May 5, 2026.
This year, the accolade was conferred upon Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tinsukia, in recognition of its outstanding contribution to National Cadet Corps (NCC) activities. The award was proudly received by Second Officer Shri Sanjay Kumar Yadav, presented by the Additional Director General (NER), Major General Anurag Vij, in the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Shri Wailadmiki Shylla, the Honorable Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Meghalaya.
