Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Keralam Prant, Guruvayur Branch, organized a Universal Brotherhood Day celebration at National Higher Secondary School, Engandiyur, on 11 September 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The programme witnessed a total participation of 42, including 35 students, the Principal, a teacher and 5 Karyakartas.
The programme commenced with an introductory address by Shri Kannan Ji, Karyakarta. Shri Jyothivas Ji then introduced the main speaker, Shri Vishnu Ji, Karyapaddhati Pramukh, Keralam Prant.
Addressing the students, Shri Vishnu Ji shared the message and significance of Universal Brotherhood Day. He encouraged the students to read the books and literature of Swami Vivekananda to understand Bharat better, develop a purposeful outlook towards life and cultivate a spirit of national service.
The session was conducted in an interactive manner, encouraging the students to participate freely and engage with the ideas shared during the programme.
