Every year, November 19 is observed as Sadhana Diwas to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mananeeya Sri Eknathji Ranade, the founder of Vivekananda Kendra.
On the occasion of Sadhana Diwas, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Anandalaya Prakalp inaugurated three new Anandalayas on 14th November 2024. The two Anandalayas at Ajjampura (Viveka Anandalaya and Sri Shakti Anandalaya) and one at Bhargavapura (Yogananda Anandalaya) collectively have a student strength of 46. Kum. Supriya, Smt. Savita, and Smt. Laxmi have taken on the responsibility of Anandalaya Acharyas for the respective Anandalayas.
The inauguration program began with three Omkars and the Sahanavavatu prayer, followed by the Anandalaya prayer. A general introduction to Anandalaya was provided. Acharyas and Shikshaks introduced themselves.
Sri Anoop Mitra ji, Sanyojak, Sri Srikant ji, Sah Sanyojak, Sri Ravishankar ji, a Well-wisher, and Sri Aravinda ji, Karnataka Vibhag Sangathak attended the event.
