Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Hebbal Branch, celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day on January 13, 2024. A total of 85 people, including parents and children, participated in the program.
Dr. Padmarekha Didi graced the occasion as the speaker, addressing the audience on the life of Swami Vivekananda. She also spoke about the teachings of the Gita for effective parenting, emphasizing lessons from the Gita to create an Amrit Parivar. Quiz and games were arranged, encouraging parent-child bonding. The event concluded with children presenting quotations of Swami Vivekananda and Maa Sharada Devi, followed by prasad distribution.
