Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Mysore Branch, organized Swadhyaya competitions across three colleges on December 22, 2023. A total of 137 students participated in the competitions, across three colleges.
Canara College in Mangaluru saw participation from 32 students, Poornaprajna College in Udupi from 34 students, and Government First Grade College in Tiptur from 71 students.
These competitions revolved around the books ‘Swami Vivekananda Jeevana Moulyagalu’ and ‘Sodari Nivedita,’ both published by Vivekananda Kendra Kannada Prakashan Vibhag. The purpose of the Swadhyaya competitions is to inspire the students to imbibe the good character traits of Swami Vivekananda.
