Dreams in the plant,
Stirs in the animal,
And awakens in man”
This Vedantic vision was also echoed by Swami Vivekananda when he proclaimed - “Each soul is potentially divine ………..” Today, 2nd September is the anniversary of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. On this day in the year 1970, the grand Vivekananda Rock Memorial was inaugurated as a tribute to the great patriotic saint Swami Vivekananda. Let us remember him and re-dedicate ourselves for his mission - awakening the God in Man.
