Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Thiruvananthapuram Branch, celebrated Sadhana Diwas at the Kendra Karyalaya in Chitra Nagar, Vattiyoorkavu, on 17th November 2024. The event, held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., witnessed the participation of 33 people.
The programme commenced with the chanting of three Omkars, the Shanti Path, and the Aikya Mantra. Dakshin Prant Sangathak, Adarneeya Radha Didi, was introduced to the gathering, and the significance of the event was highlighted.
A chapter titled Vivekananda Kendram enna Prasthanam from the book Jeevitam Oru Adhyatmika Sadhana (Spiritualizing Life book in Malayalam) was read and discussed, with Adarneeya Radha Didi elaborating on its essence. Adarneeya Sumitra Didi sang the inspiring geet ‘Vandana Abhinandana..’.
In her address, Adarneeya Radha Didi emphasized the importance of sadhana and appealed to karyakartas to dedicate consistent time to Kendra activities. During a guided meditation session, she invoked the blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ramakrishna for everyone present.
The event concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra, the Kendra Prarthana, and Pushparpanam (flower offering).
