Every year, November 19 is observed as Sadhana Diwas to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mananeeya Sri Eknathji Ranade, the founder of Vivekananda Kendra.
Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Mysore Branch, Hanumanalu Karyasthan, celebrated Sadhana Diwas at Vivekananda Sabhangana, Hanumanalu on 19th November 2024.
On this occasion, Anna Seva was organized for the Aanandalaya students, as well as other students from the school, nearby colleges, and teachers. A total of 700 students participated and received prasada.
Sri Muralidharji and Smt. Tanuja, Kendra Karyakartas, spoke about Mananeeya Sri Eknathji Ranade and his contributions. Following this, free school bags were distributed to 40 Aanandalaya children, and notebooks were given to 550 students. Additionally, certificates and prizes were awarded to the winners of the interschool competition held on the occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day in September.
