Every year, November 19 is observed as Sadhana Diwas to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mananeeya Sri Eknathji Ranade, the founder of Vivekananda Kendra.
Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Odisha Prant, Jyoti Vibhag, Rourkela Branch, celebrated Sadhana Diwas on 19th November 2024 at Jagannath Vistar (Sai Mandir, Saktinagar) with the participation of 27 karyakartas.
The programme commenced with the chanting of three Omkars and the Shanti Pat. A melodious geet was sung, setting an auspicious tone for the event. Following this, a letter on Sadhana Diwas written by Mananeeya Nivedita Didi, All India Vice President of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra, was read aloud. The key points of the letter were discussed, emphasizing the message of Sadhana Diwas.
All the participants did pushpanjali to Mananeeya Sri Eknathji. The event concluded with the Shanti Mantra and Kendra Prarthana.
