Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kallubalu (Karnataka Prant), organized a special Raksha Bandhan celebration at the Signals Military Office, Karnataka & Kerala Sub Area, on 7 September 2026. A group of 32 students accompanied by 2 teachers participated in the programme, along with Colonel Pradeepa Dalal Ji and 28 other military officers.
The students expressed their gratitude to the military personnel for their dedicated service to the nation. As a symbol of respect, affection and the bond of protection, the students tied Rakhis on the wrists of the military personnel and conveyed their greetings and good wishes.
The officers interacted with the students and encouraged them with inspiring words. The interaction helped the students understand the values of patriotism, respect, service, duty and responsibility towards the nation.
As a token of appreciation and gratitude from the Vidyalaya, a memento was presented to Colonel Pradeepa Dalal Ji. The celebration concluded on a joyful and patriotic note, creating a memorable bond between the students and the military personnel and deepening the students’ respect for those who serve and protect the nation.
