Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Keralam Prant organized a Parents' Meeting and Students' Workshop on 14th June 2026 at Niveditha Vidyalayam, Iritty, Kannur. The programme witnessed the participation of 102 members, including 35 parents, 55 students, 8 teachers, and 4 Karyakartas.
Separate interactive sessions were conducted for parents and students. During the parents' session, Aadarneeya Radha Didi introduced the vision, mission, and various service activities of Vivekananda Kendra. She emphasized the vital role of parents in nurturing value-based education and holistic personality development among children. Her inspiring interaction encouraged the parents to actively participate in the process of character-building and nation-building through strong family values.
In the students' workshop, Aa. Radha Didi captivated the young audience through inspiring stories that conveyed the values of courage, discipline, patriotism, and compassion. The interactive storytelling session kept the children deeply engaged and encouraged them to ask questions and participate enthusiastically. Her guidance inspired the students to cultivate noble values and develop a sense of responsibility towards society and the nation.
The programme concluded on an inspiring note, strengthening the bond between Vivekananda Kendra, the school, and the parents, while motivating both parents and students to imbibe the ideals of Swami Vivekananda in their daily lives.
