“I want to know God’s thoughts. The rest is details”. This quotation by Albert Einstein puzzled many. However, Einstein  was pantheist – worshiper of all Gods. He may not have believed in any conventional notion of God. But believed that “a spirit is manifested in the laws of the Universe – a spirit vastly  superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble”.

Shri.N.Krishnamurthi while writing on the Philosophy of Sustainable Development, echoes the same views in a very innovative way by having a dialogue between the Ostrich, Parrot and Swan.  Ancient wisdom as a representative of the Swan tells the  wise man to behave like a strand in the web of life, a star in the firmament of all existence.

In happenings section, we have covered training programmes on Azolla, NPK rich Bio-manure, Bio-pesticides preparation, Ferrocement technology, Bio-methanation plants and Varma Chiktsa etc.

In the wisdom section, Dr.Madhusudan Reddy tells us to transcend so that we can integrate ourselves with Nature and Nature with God.  Rachel Carson, author of the famous book ‘Silent Spring’ reminds us that Nature exists for the convenience of man. And finally, Prof.Satyanarayana Shastri exhorts the mankind to lead a simple life to achieve happiness.
