Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, Kerala Prant conducted a Matru Puja during the Women's Day Celebration organized by Jeevatha Trust, Shoranur, on March 8, 2025. The event witnessed the participation of 60 attendees.
Jeevatha Trust, Shoranur, invited Vivekananda Kendra, Kerala Prant, to conduct the Matru Puja and introduce Kendra's activities to the local community. Notably, Shoranur in Palakkad district holds historical significance, as it was the first place in Kerala where Swami Vivekananda arrived during his Bharat Parikrama.
During the event, Jeevatha Trust conferred the Pythruka Seva Award on Aadarneeya Radha Devi Didi, Kerala & Tamil Nadu Prant Sangathak, in recognition of her dedicated service to society and the nation.
The Matru Puja was conducted in an auspicious and reverential manner by Vivekananda Kendra karyakarthas. This event marked a significant step in introducing Vivekananda Kendra's activities to the people of the region.
