Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari Arunachal Prant conducted a unique programme, called as Chalo Gaon Ki Aur (Let’s go to the villages) was organized involving college students of Indira Gnadhi Govt. College Tezu, Lohit Distt. of Arunachal Pradesh from 6 to 13 th January 2018.
The main objective of this programme was to introduce village lives and their day to day problems to the college students who mainly stay in townships. A team of 10 students and out of them 4 were girls the part of the team. They stayed at Kibithu and Longling, Anjaw Distt., a border post very near to China, for seven days. During their stay they conducted various awareness programmes on health, culture and education etc. Participants from various schools like Kahoo, Masai, Kibithu, Longling etc. also shared their experiences and expressed their gratefulness to the karyakartas for spending some days with them for good cause.
