Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Guruvayur Branch celebrated Gita Jayanti at the Pannikkassery Temple in Engandiyur on 16th December, 2024, from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The event was attended by 63 people.
The celebration began with the chanting of three Omkars followed by Shantipat. Afterward, Adaraneeya Sri Raghunathan Nair K.P. Ji, a Jeevan-vrati karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, was introduced to the audience. The event was presided over by Shri Harilal Ji, Karyasthan Sah Sanyojak.
In his address, Adaraneeya Sri Raghunathan Ji spoke about the significance of the ‘Amrita Parivar’ concept in society and its importance for the country. He referenced verses from the Mahabharata and Bhagavad Gita to support his points. He emphasized the moral upbringing of children within families and the values parents should instill in them. The participants expressed their support for implementing the Amrita Parivar program in their respective areas.
The program concluded with the Shanti Mantra, and lunch prasad was served to all attendees.
