Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Hebbal Nagar Branch, celebrated Gita Jayanti on 9th December 2024 at the Karyalaya in Hebbal, with the participation of 18 karyakartas.
Mananeeya Sri Bhanudas Ji, All-India General Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra, was on a pravas to Karnataka Vibhag and visited Hebbal Nagarasthan on the same day, coinciding with the programme. The event commenced at approximately 7:15 p.m.
Sri Prasad Ji, Karnataka Vibhag Pramukh, introduced Mananeeya Bhanudas Ji to the karyakartas, and karyakarthas introduced themselves one by one. Following the introductions, a meaningful discussion on the Srimad Bhagavad Gita took place. Sri Bhanudas Ji invited the karyakartas to share their favorite slokas from the Gita and offered insightful interpretations, linking the teachings of the Gita to the mission and work of Vivekananda Kendra and the karyakartas.
The programme concluded with Shanti mantra. The attendees had dinner prasada together at around 8:30 p.m.
