Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Telugu Prant, Hyderabad Vibhag, Nagole Branch celebrated Gita Jayanti with an Amrit Parivar Programme on the theme "Gita in Daily Life." The event was held at the Co-op Bank Colony Community Bhavan in Nagole on 11th December 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM, and witnessed the participation of 150 people, including 10 Karyakarthas.

In preparation for this programme, a Gita Saptaham was organized from 5th to 11th December in Nagole Nagar, during which families practiced four Karma Yoga shlokas daily. The concluding session of the Saptaham was held as part of the Gita Jayanti celebrations.

The event began with three Omkars, Prarthana, and Deepa Prajwalan (lighting of the lamp). Dr. K.V. Phani, MA (Lit), LLB, Retired CGM of TS Cooperative Bank, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. VK Nagole Nagar Sah Sanchalak who is also a proponent of Gita, explained the contents of the Gita Jayanti letter written by Mananeeya Nivedita Didi. He emphasized that the Gita serves as a guide to life and shows the path for all individuals.

Sri N.V. Anantha Krishna, a High Court advocate, Dharma Pracharak, and Sanskrit scholar, was the Guest Speaker. He spoke on the values of the Gita and its practical applications in daily life.

The programme also included a quiz to enhance participants' general knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita. This was followed by the sharing of experiences from the Gita Saptaham by 10 Sankuls and 15 families. The event concluded with the Shanti Mantra.
