Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, RT Nagar branch celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi at the Samhitha School of Performing Arts on 7th September 2024, with a Bhajan Sandhya. The event was attended by 41 people, including children, parents, and Karyakartas.
The celebration commenced with a prayer and Aarti, accompanied by the chanting of Slokhas dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Following this, a quiz and games about Lord Ganesha were conducted for the children, who participated with enthusiasm.
A special Bhajan Sandhya was held as part of the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities. Student Purohit Nischal performed the Archana to the Lord, and the Maha Mangla Aarti Pooja was conducted. Maha Prasadams prepared by the parents were distributed to all attendees. This celebration not only honored the tradition of Ganesh Chaturthi but also imparted the cultural values associated with the festival to the children.
