Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Paschim Banga Prant, Uttar Banga Vibhag organised a *Matri Sammelan* to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sister Nivedita on 11th February 2018 at Bidhan Mancha, Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur. Total 600 mothers/sisters and 100 brothers(for vyavastha) were present on this occasion. Dr. Mamta Kundu (retd. teacher Kaliaganj Mahavidyalaya) spoke about the work & contribution of Sis. Nivedita to Indian society, chief speaker Adv. Arpita Chatterjee spoke about the learnings from Sis. Nivedita's life for today's women.
