Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Hebbal Nagar Branch, organized an Amrita Parivar Milan on Saturday, 11th January 2025, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Kendra Karyalaya in Hebbal.
Members from two Amrita Parivar sankuls, Samanvaya Kutumba and Panchavati Amrita Parivar, along with Samskaravarga children, gathered to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti. The event featured a variety of engaging activities, nurturing joy and collaboration among participants.
The sankul members actively participated in designing beautiful Rangoli patterns and guided the children in creating kites using colorful papers. Adding to the festive atmosphere, one member sang a Bhavageethe (a Kannada light music song), while another delivered an insightful speech on the significance of Sankranti. Notably, both of these contributions marked their first time addressing a public gathering, inspiring others with their enthusiasm and courage.
The celebration concluded with Amrita Bhojan, symbolizing togetherness and harmony. The event saw the participation of 25 attendees and left everyone with a sense of joy and cultural pride.
