Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation (VK-VVF) in Kodungallur, conducted a one-day workshop titled ‘Amrita Parivar Sankalpam – A Reality’ for families involved in various yoga programs at VK-VVF. Participants were encouraged to attend with their families. The workshop took  place on October 27, 2024, at the VK-VVF Karyalaya in Kodungallur, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with 55 members from 29 families in attendance.

Mananeeya Dr. Lakshmi Kumari Didi, Director of VK-VVF, addressed the participants, asking them, “What is an Amrita Parivar?” Based on their responses, she provided guidance and clarified the concept of Amrita Parivar. Didi encouraged each family member to introduce their partners, share positive qualities, and identify areas for self-improvement. Individuals attending alone also engaged in activities that nurtured self-awareness and personal growth.

The program was well-received by all participants, who expressed their commitment to focused activities around the Amrita Parivar concept in Kodungallur and surrounding areas.

The workshop was effectively coordinated by Radhakrishnan Ji, a senior Kendra Karyakarta, along with Aadarneeya Sudhakar Ji, a senior Jeevan-vrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra.
