Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Kozhikode Niyojit Nagar organized the Amrit Parivar introuduction programme for the mothers at Kottakkal on 21st March, 2024 from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. A total of 39 people including 25 mothers participated in the event.
During the programme, Dakshin Prant Sangathak Mananeeya Radha Devi Didi provided a brief introduction about Vivekananda Kendra, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, and their activities. She also spoke about Swami Vivekananda and his mother, emphasizing the importance of family and its impact on generations. The concept of Amrita Parivar and the 5 Bha’s were explained using examples. The objective of the family and the mother's role in nurturing good citizens were also discussed. The mothers present responded enthusiastically and positively to the discussions.
After the session, the team visited a nearby Kalari and interacted with a few students there. The experience of speaking with Sri. Sunil Gurukkal in his Kalari was particularly enriching. The team also handed over Samparka booklets to Sri. Sunil Ji.
