Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur began a 21-day Yoga Satra at Karuppan Memorial Vayanasala, Anappuzha, for Matajis and Bhaginis from the surrounding areas. A total of 15 participants have registered and are regularly attending the sessions.
The Satra is being led by Su. Remya Didi, a Karyakarta of the Kendra. An introductory session and Samparka was held on 14th October 2024 to provide an overview of the Satra.
The formal inauguration of the Satra took place on 15th October 2024, with Sri Radhakrishnan Ji, a senior Karyakarta, lighting the ceremonial lamp (Deepa Prajwalan). The sessions are held daily from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
This Satra was made possible through the various Samparka efforts conducted during previous Satras, as well as the positive feedback received from past participants.
