Monday,14th July, the foundation stone was laid for Vivekananda Seva Sadan by the Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari - Shri Balkrishnanji. The Seva Sadan will come up at Village Devbandh Dist. Kendujhar in Odisha. This Sadan will provide hostel facility for 25 adivasi children who are not able to continue their studies due to low income of the family.
It will also provide periodical medical assistance by specialist doctors and a pathology lab. Various activities will go on with the twin ideals MAN MAKING NATION BUILDING as envisaged by Swami Vivekananda. During the public meeting organized on the day, Adarneeya Balkrishnanji emphasized on the aim and objectives of the Sadan and appealed gramvasi to cooperate actively to make it vibrant for the all round development of in and around villages.
