Kishori Shibir was held in VKV, Tezpur on 1.11.2013. The purpose of the shibir was the all round development of the adolescent girls. The program started with 3 omkar shanti path and lightening the lamp by the chief guest . The chief guest for the day was Dipali Upadhyay. She is the Samvag Pracharika, Rashtra Sevika Samiti Kendra, Tezpur.
The welcome speech was delivered by our principal didi. Smty Sangeeta Devi. Then the Chief guest was felicitated by principal. Three schools had come to participate in the shibir viz. 1)Bihaguri Girls High School 2)Besseria Uccha Madhyamik Balika Vidyalaya 3) Bindukhuri High School.
There were 140 participants in the shibir. One student from each school came on the stage and introduced there schools. Then a game was played with the girls present at the shibir. Everyone enjoyed the game a lot.
Then our chief guest Dipali didi shared her thoughts with the girls. Her words were of great knowledge for the girls and the were benefited a lot. Then one of our teachers taught pranayam to the girls.
Then another teacher shared some health and hygiene tips with the girls. Then Riya Bhandari, a student of 9th std from Sankardev Shishu Niketan taught some self defence tricks to the girls. Then the girls shared their thoughts about the Shibir. At the end all the girls were filled with positive thoughts. Vote of thanks was again paid by one of the teachers. Then Prasad was distributed among the girls. Everyone went hope with a smile on their lips.
