Resource persons from VIVEKANANDA INSTITUTE OF HAMAN EXCELLENCY DEPARTMENT run by Ramakrishna Mission, Hyderabad conducted a short term workshop on Development of human personality for the students of Class X to XII on 10th December 2013.
Prof. SUMITA ROY, Chair Person BOS, Dept of English Cum Director of OUCIP, ACAS and Canadian studies, Osmania University, Hyderabad and her sister Smt. Chandrima Roy jointly took the classes on how to develop willpower and how to manage time in our life which are the two important aspects of human personality. Students should learn Listening,Speaking,Reading and writing skills from their school days onwards to become a good communicator. They said that Self motivation and determination to choose and act the right thing in life always will help to develop will power. Prof. Sumita Roy explained the various incidents from the life of swami Vivekananda who was an embodiment of will power. Rev. Swami Vishweshanandaji, Secretary Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar was also present in the workshop. He motivated the students to manifest the divinity within them by following Dharma-the righteous way of living.
Kr. Sohom Sachidananda Gupta, Class-X, Kum. Honya Dakpe, Class-XII, Kum. V.K. Chaitanya, Class-VIII are some of the students who also shared their experiences in the workshop. 160 selected students attended the class.
Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar and Vivekananda study circle, Naharlagun jointly organised the programme in the school.
