Italin Circle: - In italin circle of Lower Dibang Valley, Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated in various government schools under the aegis of Vivekananda Kendra Arunjyoti. As a part of this celebration, One Day Personality Development Camps were conducted in various schools. Leading the day, Sri Yupi , a senior karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra Arunjyoti, taught patriotic songs to the participants. He also appealed them to imbibe the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
Shergaon: - the Day was also celebrated in in government school of Jijaon village in which the Principal of V.K.V. Shergaon spoke on the occasion. Through his speech he enlightened the participants about the contribution of Vivekananda to the nation in particular and world in general. Through his speech he also depicted the picture of India in world stage as envisaged by the great Son of Bharat Mata.
Seijosa:- Vivekananda Jayanti was also celebrated in V.K.V. Seijosa with great enthusiasm. In total 870 students and parents took part in the celebration. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Tado ji, ADC of West Kameng deliberated on the importance quality education and education as understood by Swamiji. He appealed the participants not to limit the scope of education in mere learning of books and educated them that, real education is that education which makes an individual a disciplined human being and which contributes towards the healthy growth of a family, society and a Nation which ultimately lead us to good direction.
Later Er. Pai Dawe who is also the incharge of Yuva Sakthi of 150th Birth Anniversary Celebration of Swami Vivekananda-Arunachal Pradesh, informed the gathering about the motive of celebration and its other details.
Itanagar:- with the rest of other parts of the state, in Itanagar also the Day was celebrated under the aegis of Vivekananda Kendra Arunjyoti-Itanagar in Green Mount School with the students and teachers. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Tara Dajam, a research scholar of Rajiv Gandhi University spoke about the history of the Kendra and its various social activities in the state. Later Dr. Lobsang Tsetim, alumni of V.K.V and who is an Ophthalmologist in R.K. Mission hospital Itanagar, spoke on the life history of Swami Vivekananda through LCD Projector. The whole program was managed and conducted by the Green Mount School with active participation from the students who presented a Sanskrit song based on the teachings of Swamiji.
