Class 10 and Class 12 students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Jairampur performed Matri Puja on 4th February 2012. The parents included teachers of Govt.schools and prominent personalities of Jairampur. All were happy to see their own children moved highly by the preparatory speech given by Kum B Radha Devi, Joint Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas Arunachal Pradesh.
After the Puja, parents while expressing their views on the ceremony were asking to start this puja in the early years too for all children of the school.
