The project of Millo Dacha of VKV Roing secured A+ in the National level competition and found place in the best 20 projects selected in the National Level Children Science Congress held at Bangalore from 27th to 31st December 2014.  He was the only one to be selected under top 20 from Arunachal Pradesh.

The 3rd Veenapani Lalit Kala Samaroh was inaugurated on 24 December in the campus of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Tezpur by Prof. Pradip Jyoti Mahanta, Dean, School of Humanities and Social Science, Tezpur University. The occasion was also graced by Su. Nivedita Vidhe, Vice President Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari. Ma.. Pravin Davolkar, Jt. Gen. Secretary Vivekananda Kendra. Nineteen (19) schools participating in the five day cultural meet took part in the inaugural ceremony holding placard and flag of respective schools. The samaroh was formally declared open by Ma.

At Mangalore :- On 13th Decemeber, organized inter school and college quiz, Essay, Elocution, Patriotic song competition among the students. 138 students from 10 schools  participated.

At Mysore : On 3rd December celebrated at Kendra office, Ma. Bhanudasji, General Secretary presided the function. Ma. C V Gopinathji, Retd. Secretary, Govt of India was the Chief guest. Ma.

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Odisha Prant organised a state level Yuva Prashikshan Shibir for the youth who has committed to serve the nation through different activities, from 24th December to 28th December 2014, under the aegis of Mananeeya Eknathji Janma Shati Parva. 155 youth from 10 districts of Odisha participated in the 5 day camp. These youth had attended the “Born to Succeed” workshop and Yuva Sammelans in their respective Nagar sthans. Participants from all 7 Nagar sthans and 4 Karyasthans attended the camp.

The Tinsukia branch of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari is conducting monthly Vimarsh. On 21st December 2014, the Vimarsh was held at Hindi Pustakalaya, Tinsukia. It was attended by 18 people. The topic was Parenting and the Challenges Involved. Su. Barnalee Hazarika, Yuva Pramukh of Mananeeya Eknathji Janma Sati Parva samity of Tinsukia delivered the keynote.

Todaya Mising Yuva Sammelan is organised by Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, Branch: Lakhimpur, under Mananeeya Eknathji Janma Shati Parva in Badakara, Lakhimpur. Total Participants are 134 and 20 Karyakartas have formed the organizing team.

The sammelan was executed with Mising songs and recitation competitions judged by a Mising Scholar, Margdarshan on Bharatiya Sanskriti and Vivekananda Kendra by two respected speakers, Manthan on how we can preserve our culture and Baboharat Deshbhakti.
