15 January 2013 Itanagar - A grand procession was organized by VKV-Sher with high sprit and enthusiasm in connection with 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in Kimin Town. More than 2500 people of all section of society participated with a full vigour and spirit.
15 January 2013 Itanagar - A grand procession was organized by VKV-Sher with high sprit and enthusiasm in connection with 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in Kimin Town. More than 2500 people of all section of society participated with a full vigour and spirit.
Display of tableau, band, banners, display of traditional dances etc added colour to the procession.
It was followed by a public meeting in which Manish Kataria, commandant 10th ITBP Kimin attended. The meeting commenced with lighting of lamp. Y. Pradeep Principal VKV-Sher delivered the welcome address.
The significance of the occasion was told by Bibhuti Bhushan Bal a teacher from VKV.
In his address commandant Manish Kataria advised all to make Swami Vivekananda as role model. The vote of thanks was extended by the convenor of Ayojan Committee Dr.Takio Taram, veterinary officer kimin.
The presence of ITBP high level officers, local administrative, doctors, police, local leaders, students, teachers and well wishers of Vivekananda Kendra made the celebration more significant. Various colourful cultural programs were performed by the students of various Schools. The full involvement of participants in their respective programs was appreciated by all.
