Asadh purnima is largely celebrates as Guru Poormina in remembrance of Ved Vyas who complied Vedas and Puranas. Vivekananda Kendra Kadapa celebrates Guru Purnima at various places.

1 VARSHIK BAITHAK OF TELUGU PRANT was held on 11-12 March at Kaushalam, Hyderabad. All India General Secretary Sri Bhanudasji and All India Treasurer Sri Hanumanthraoji were present. Prant Sanchalak, Prant Sah-Pramukh, Prant Vyavatha Pramukh, Nagar Samiti members of Dilsukhnagar, Ameerpet, Nagole, Nagole, Kadapa, Vijayawada were presnt. Dayitvan Karyakartas of VK Kaushalam, VK Telugu Prakashan and Asmita were presnt. Reporting and planning, after intensive discussions on ‘watering the root’ concept was done.

Vivekananda Kendra Kaushalam organised a PDC on 8 April 2017. Participants: 44. Sri ​G. ​Srinivasji, Jeevanvrati & Prakalpa Sangathak, VK Kaushalam,​took the Tejas Pratimaan.​ A team of karyakartas, some of whom were Yoga Instructor Course participants, co-ordiinated the programme.​ Yoga Varga is going on regularly.  Shri PVS Karthik Kumar conducted 3  Yogabhyas sessions for ITI students of Nizampatnam, the fishing community hub in Guntur district.
