VKV Kanyakumari celebrated Onam on 4th September 2025 with great enthusiasm and cultural fervour. A total of 1,230 participants took part in the celebration, which reflected the values of unity, joy, and tradition, fostering cultural awareness among the students.

On the occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day, VK-NARDEP organized a free Siddha medical camp at Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari. A total of 82 people attended the camp and received treatment and guidance.

VKV Kanyakumari celebrated the 55th Anniversary of the dedication of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial along with Universal Brotherhood Day on 11th September 2025 at Swami Vivekananda Sabhagriham, in the presence of 1,350 participants.

The Teacher’s Day Celebration was organized by VKV Kanyakumari, on 6th September 2025 in the school premises. The event was presided over by Sri T. Sankara Lingam, DI, Marthandam Educational District, and witnessed the participation of 1,150 students and teachers.

VKV Kanyakumari celebrated Vinayagar Chathurthi from 27th August to 3rd September 2025 in an auspicious and devotional manner. All the students and teachers of the school took part in the celebration with devotion.

VK-RDP Kanyakumari branch in collaboration with Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari DBCS, organised the 278th Free Eye Screening Camp on 6th August 2025 at Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari.

VKV Kanyakumari observed the Punya Tithi of Mananeeya Shri Eknathji Ranade on 22nd August 2025 at the Samadhi of Eknathji Ranade in Vivekanandapuram. 111 members, including students, teachers, and a Jeevan Vrati Karyakarta attended.

VKV Kanyakumari organized a unique program of sapling plantation and orientation on August 8, 2025 at Gangotri Exhibition in Vivekanandapuram. 98 saplings of Crape Jasmine, Spanish Cherry, Sandalwood, Golden Shower Tree (Cassia), and Hibiscus were planted across the premises.

Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, has launched an online Darshanam coupon portal (https://darshanam.vrmvk.org/) for pilgrims on the special occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day, September 11, 2025. This user-friendly portal allows visitors to conveniently obtain Darshanam coupons for the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial (a mid-sea monument), and for Sri Ramayana Darshanam located within the Vivekanandapuram campus.Historical Significance and Inspiration
