Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day and the 56th Anniversary of Vivekananda Rock Memorial on 11 September 2026 at Swami Vivekananda Sabhagriham, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Kanyakumari. The programme witnessed the participation of 1,470 students, teachers, Karyakartas and guests.

VKV Kanyakumari celebrated Teachers’ Day, Gokulashtami and Raksha Bandhan Day on 5 September 2026 at the school campus. The programme witnessed the participation of 1,260 students, staff and guests. Shri Shritharan Ji, Jilla Boudhik Pramukh, RSS, Kanyakumari District, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Mananeeya Rekha Didi, Joint General Secretary, VRM & VK, presided over the programme.

VKV Kanyakumari celebrated Guru Purnima on 29th July 2026 at Swami Vivekananda Sabhagriham, with the participation of 1,106 students and staff. The programme was presided over by Mananeeya Nivedita Didi, All India Vice President of VRMVK, and Smt. M. A. G. Devisha Mariappan, SKY Yoga Professor, Kovilpatti, attended as the Chief Guest.

The International Day of Yoga was observed at the iconic mid-sea Vivekananda Rock Memorial on 21 June 2026. A total of 21 Karyakartas of Vivekananda Kendra, including staff members serving at the Rock Memorial, enthusiastically participated in the yoga session.

The May 2026 batch of Yoga Shiksha Shivir was held at Training Center, Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari, from 1st to 15th May 2026. A total of 33 participants attended the camp, coming from various states of Bharat.

The celebration of Navvarsh, Yugadi, Chaitra Pratipada, and Gudi Padwa was observed on Thursday, 19 Mar, 2026, with great spiritual fervor and joy at Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari.

VK Headquarters, Kanyakumari celebrated the auspicious occasion Sri Rama Navami with profound devotion and spiritual fervor on March 27, 2026, held at the serene Sri Ramayana Darshanam between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM.
