This year we are celebrating the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on 12th November. Guru Nanak Jayanti, or as it is commonly called, Guru Nanak Gurpurab, is a Sikh festival which is celebrated with a lot of fervour and excitement in many parts of India and the world by Sikh and Punjabi communities in particular and Indians in general.

Mama, 59 years old and the oldest chimpanzee and the matriarch of the famous chimpanzee colony of the Royal Burgers Zoo in Arnhem, the Netherlands, was gravely ill. Jan Van Hooff (emeritus professor behavioral biology at Utrecht University and co-founder of the Burgers colony) who has known Mama since 1972, visited her in the week before she died of old age in April 2016.

Herewith we are pleased to inform you all that the Gandhi Peace Prize amount was handed over to the Defence Minister of India Mananeeya Rajnath Singh ji by Kendra's Vice Presidents Mananeeya A Balakrishnan ji and Mananeeya Nivedita Didi at his residence on 8 Aug 2019. Sri Bhanudas ji and Sri Pravin Dabholkar ji also were present. 

In 1963, Hawking was diagnosed with an early-onset, slow-progressing form of motor neurone disease (MND), that gradually paralysed him over the decades. Even after the loss of his speech, he was still able to communicate through a speech-generating device.
