ITANAGAR: Nearly 75,000 devotees, including sadhus from across the country, took a holy dip in Parshuram Kund in Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh on the occasion of Makar Sankranti on Sunday. The pilgrims, mostly from Nepal, Manipur, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, had been gathering at the site since January 13, said R K Sharma, Lohit deputy commissioner, in a communique on Monday.
Vivekananda Kendra, Arun Jyoti Rupa branch have conducted One Day Personality Development Camp at Govt. Higher Sec. School, Nafra.94 students delightly participated in this camp.Ex M.P Kiren Rijiju was the chief guest, he told the students that to follow the ideals of Swamiji’s to know the light of life. E.A.C. of Nafra was the Guest of honour of this camp. The main motto of this camp was to develop personality & to unfold the real potential within them, which is present in each soul as said by Swamiji’s.
